Researchers from the University of Seville develop new flight simulation software for Airbus

Web Engineering and Early Testing (IWT2) researchers of University of the Seville are working on a new software of flight simulators for Airbus Military passenger aircrafts.

The initiative is part of the CALIPSOneo project (Advanced aeronautical solutions using PLM processes tools applied in a320neo fancowls), co-financed with funds from Agency IDEA and Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA), and which aims to develop technological solutions for indus­trial design based on PLM tools.

The project is led by Airbus Military, and has the participation of the companies Glenser, ARPA, T-Systems Iberia, and UPM Researching Center, Ceit and Foundation for Researching and the Development of the Information Technologies in Andalusia (FIDETIA), under the formula of subcontracting.
