Businesses and professionals from the sector analyse the research opportunities of the Seventh EU framework Programme
Businesses, technicians and professionals from the Andalusian aeronautical sector met last 28 September during the Seminar on the Seventh Framework Programmes FP7-ATT (Aeronautics and Air Transport) and FP7-nMP (nanosciences, nanotech- nologies, Materials and new Production Technologies) to analyse the opportunities for RDI projects in the aeronautical industry under these European programmes.
The event was organised by the Andalusian Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer (CITAndalucía) in collaboration with Airbus Military, with the support of the IDEA Agency, the Technological Corporation of Anda- lusia, the Andalusian Technology network (RETA) and the OTRI (Research Results Transfer Office) network.
The conference included participation by the heads of the national Contact Points for Transport and nMP of the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), the Spanish Office for Science and Technology in Brussels (SOST) and the Centre for Advanced Aerospace Technology (CATEC). The attendees also participated in bilateral meetings with the heads of the CDTI to obtain advice regarding research projects and proposals. This gave Andalusian entities interested the opportunity to explain their RDI capacities in priority areas of the Seventh Framework Programme.
