A total of eight Andalusian aerospace enterprises and entities will attend Farnborough 2012, one of the world’s most important aerospace events, taking place from 9 to 15 July in the town of the same name, in Hampshire (UK), searching for new business opportunities within the international aerospace industry.

The Andalusian delegation will attend the show aimed at establishing contacts and holding trade meetings with other international firms with which may sign strategic agreements of collaboration or new relevant contracts and projects for the Andalusian aerospace firms afterwards. Once again, world’s prime aircraft manufacturers and subcontractors will participate at the event such as EADS, Boeing, Embraer or Bombardier, which will present their latest products and will analyze the market searching for new partners and supplier.

The final objective of this action is to boost Andalusian aerospace enterprises’ internationalization and encourage their customer and product diversification. In order to achieve this, the Andalusian service industry will have its own 21 square meters space-stand, where attending firms will hold business meetings with other international aerospace companies and institutions’ managers. Meetings with business associations and aerospace clusters from different countries like US (Oklahoma, Missouri, South Carolina), Mexico (Proméxico, Chihuahua), Italy (CampaniaAerospace, Torino Piamonte), Canada (Ontario), and Belgium (Flag and Skywin), as well as with the Canadian manufacturer Bombardier, to explore the participation of Andalusian firms in its manufacturing facility in Morocco, are scheduled on the Hélice’s agenda.

At the same time, Andalusian service firms will present  their credentials as an example of  development according to the latest Annual Report in which Andalusia consolidated its position as the second national aerospace pole with a growth of 16% and 8% in turnover an number of employees, respectively.
