Airbus Military appoints new heads for the plant at El Puerto de Santa María and the fAL for its medium and light aircraft
Airbus Military has appointed Prudencio Escamilla Tera as the new director of the Bahía de Cádiz Centre (CBC) at El Puerto de Santa María, making him responsible for management of resources at the plant and the extensive range of products and aerostructures which it manufactures.
Escamilla was previously responsible for industrial management and the final assembly line of the family of medium and light aircraft (C212, Cn235 and C295 and their different versions). The company has also appointed Ricardo Rojas Camúñez as the new head of this section. He was previously head of the final assembly line at Getafe for the Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) based on the A330 for the British Air Force. Rafael nogueras, current head of the FAL for the A400M Programme, will also take on the role of Site Manager of the Airbus Military Plant at San Pablo, Seville.
This plant includes the final assembly line of the A400M and Light and Medium Aircraft, as well as the Flight Test Centre, the Crew Training Centre and the MRO Services Centre.
