Aernnova Andalucía delivers first rear fuselage of chopper NH90 to Agusta
Aernnova Andalucia presented the first rear fuselage for Agusta Westland helicopter NH90 last July from its plant in Aeropolis (Seville). This structure is mainly manufactu¬red in carbon fiber material and its process involves two of the Aernnova group companies: Fibertecnic (Alava) and Aernnova Andalucia (Seville), this factory is where the assembly process is performed.
With the delivery of this first fuselage, Aernnova consolidates in its process of diversification of customers and products, and streng¬th its strategic position as a supplier of large structures in composite materials.
The company also delivered this summer the Lower Structure of the chopper Superpu¬ma, of Eurocopter. Aernnova has a contract with Agusta Westland for the manufacture and assembly of the rear fuselage of 151 units of NH 90 for an amount of 26,7€ mi¬llions, although it is open to future expansion. Aernnova Andalucia reported that six units during 2012 and a total of 11 next year will be handed over.
